一.Introduce

The universal transfer switch is a cam-rotary dial type switch, which is a multi-position switch controlling multiple circuits. The transfer switch consists of a shaft, cam, contact base, positioning mechanism, screw, and handle. When the handle is turned to different positions, the shaft rotates along with the cam, causing some contacts to close and others to open. As the cam rotates, the studs allow the contacts to perform multiple on/off actions according to the cam's movement.

By configuring different limit pieces, switches of different gears can be obtained. The rotary switch is assembled from a multi-layer insulating housing, can be arranged three-dimensionally, reducing installation space, with a simple and compact structure, and operates safely and reliably.

二.Installation

1. The installation location should maintain a gap from other electrical appliances to prevent short-circuit faults caused by arc ejection during switching; 2. Before installation, clean the internal dust and rotate the handle to check for smooth movement; 3. Generally, install horizontally on the panel, but it can also be installed at an angle or vertically, with the handle preferably kept in a horizontal rotation position; 4. Insert the switch panel from the front of the panel and tighten the nuts on the double-ended bolts to secure the panel onto the board. When installing the switch, remove the handle first, then reinstall it after installation.

Correct selection and proper installation are essential to ensure the reasonable use of the switch.

三.Application

1.Electrical Control: Used for switching various electrical control circuits with a rated operating voltage of AC 380V/50Hz, rated current up to 160A, and DC 220V and below.

2.Measurement Control: Can be used for switching measurement control of voltmeters and ammeters.

3.Distribution Devices: Also applicable in distribution device circuit switching and remote control.

4.Motor Control: Directly controls the starting, speed regulation, and reversing of small-capacity motors.

5.Multi-Position Switching: Enables switching between different circuit states, suitable for household appliances with various currents.
